Set off on a journey to discover the estate and its ecosystem, wine glass in hand!
As you explore each unique part of the property, you will taste the four wines of Château de Cérons throughout the tour.

Experience the poetic journey of a drop of water from the Pyrenees in a glass of Cérons wine, through the film directed by Romain Dussaulx, shown in the 300-year-old cellar.
This technological marvel projects images on the charred walls of the old barrel cellar, capturing the suspended passage of time in this unique immersive experience.

Using an audio-visual app, explore our biodiversity haven rich in local plant species. From our Merlot and Sémillon vines to fruit trees, hedges, flowers, and cereals, discover the vital role of the ecosystem within our vineyard.

“Discovery Tour” Package

During the Journey Through Cérons, you will taste the 4 wines of the estate:

  • Château de Cérons, Graves Dry White: discover the Sémillon blended with Sauvignon Blanc and Gris, a native grape variety of Cérons, perfectly suited to the limestone soils with Astéries found in our vineyards.
  • Château de Cérons, Graves Red: a classic left bank blend that embodies the essence of a true ‘Graves’ wine. We’ll share insights into the meticulous work done in the cellar to achieve its renowned cashmere-like tannins.

  • Château de Cérons, Cérons Sweet White Wine: the jewel of the estate, a luscious sweet wine with perfect balance, crafted by the smallest and most exclusive appellation in Bordeaux.

  • Coucher de Soleil, Orange Wine: a return to roots, this unique and bold cuvée features skin-contact maceration, showcasing a rediscovered aromatic expression.

A fun and educational visit specially designed for families with children, inspired by the immersive film “Gabriel and the Water Drop”.
Embark on a family adventure at Château de Cérons and follow the fascinating journey of a water drop from the Pyrenees all the way to a glass of Cérons wine.

At the end of the Cérons Journey, we offer a guided tasting of three older vintages from the Château de Cérons collection. This unique experience allows you to explore the richness and subtlety of our remarkable and highly exclusive appellation over time.

We offer a guided tasting of our four iconic wines:

  • Château de Cérons Graves Blanc: A dry white wine with subtle aromas and striking minerality, crafted from Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, and Sémillon grapes, typical of our appellation.
  • Château de Cérons Graves Rouge: A balanced and elegant red wine, made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, offering fruity and spicy notes with a beautiful tannic structure.
  • Château de Cérons Cérons Liquoreux: An exceptional sweet wine, rich in aromas of candied fruits and honey, the result of botrytis cinerea which enhances the Sémillon.
  • Coucher de Soleil Orange Wine: A unique and bold orange wine with complex aromas, produced using traditional skin contact maceration methods.

Private Visit "Architecture & Decorative Arts" with Xavier or Caroline Perromat

New in 2026

An exclusive and intimate visit of the private reception rooms of the Chartreuse, guided by the owners themselves. Xavier or Caroline Perromat open the doors of their historic family home for a total immersion into the aristocratic Bordeaux art de vivre from the 17th to the 19th century.
An exceptional tour through all the reception rooms of the Chartreuse:

This rare heritage experience invites you to discover:

  • The state rooms usually closed to the public
  • The private apartments of the Perromat family
  • The remarkable fireplaces that adorn each room and tell 3 centuries of architectural history of the Chartreuse

A journey through time, narrated by those who live in and preserve this exceptional heritage every day. A unique opportunity to understand the architecture of Bordeaux wine estates and the art of entertaining of the great wine merchant families.
The visit concludes with an exclusive tasting of the estate’s wines in one of the historic reception rooms.

Four-colour picnic in the park

To extend this moment and enjoy the magnificent setting of the estate, we prepare a delicious French picnic:

  • Red picnic, Château de Cérons, Graves red
    Black pigs of Bigorre, duck of Landes, seasonal fruits and vegetables, cheese from Bazas, sweets from the Cérons bakery.
  • White picnic, Château de Cérons, Graves dry white
    Fish of Arcachon and Pyrénées, seasonal fruits and vegetables, goast’s cheese, sweets from the Cérons bakery.
  • Gold picnic, Château de Cérons, Cérons
    Grenier Médocain, foie gras, seasonal fruits and vegetables, blue cheese, sweets from the Cérons bakery.

Lunch or dinner at the Château rotisserie

Following a tour and tasting of the wines from our vineyard, our chef welcomes you to the rotisserie at Château de Cérons.

In winter, cozy up by the fireplace, where we gently roast suckling pigs, wood pigeons, and Landais chickens.

In summer, enjoy a large table set up in the park under the shade of the magnolia tree.

We welcome groups of 6 to 30 people. Experience a unique gastronomic experience in the heart of our Bordeaux wine estate.

Is booking required to visit Château de Cérons?

Yes, all our visits and experiences are by reservation only. You can book by phone or online through our shop.

Are the visits suitable for children?

Absolutely! Our new family visit “In the Footsteps of the Water Drop” is specially designed for children aged 6 and up. Price: €20 for adults, €8 for children under 18.

Is Château de Cérons accessible from Bordeaux without a car?

Yes! Take the TER regional train to Cérons station (Bordeaux-Langon line), then rent an electric bike through La Bulle Verte.

Can we organise a wedding at Château de Cérons?

Absolutely. We welcome weddings, corporate seminars and private events. Please contact us for a personalised quote.

Is the estate certified in sustainable farming?

Yes, Château de Cérons has held both HVE3 (High Environmental Value, level 3) and ISO 14001 certifications since 2019.
