A Grand Prix de Rome winner in 1912, his major works include the fittings of the Normandie<\/em> ocean liner (1932-1935), the Trocad\u00e9ro fountains in Paris (1936-1937), and several villas in Arcachon and Pyla (1924 and 1927). Roger Expert oversaw the restoration of the Ch\u00e2teau and passed away in C\u00e9rons on April 13, 1955.<\/p>\n

In 1958, Suzanne and Jean Perromat acquired the Ch\u00e2teau de C\u00e9rons. Coming from a long lineage of winegrowers and doctors established in the Graves and Entre-deux-Mers regions for nine generations, they took over the management of this vineyard estate with great passion. Suzanne Perromat was enchanted by the beauty of the estate, while Jean Perromat was captivated by the quality of the terroir. Together, they contributed to enhancing Bordeaux\u2019s reputation starting in the 1960s.<\/p>\n

This ambitious project adheres to a tradition of viticulture that respects the terroirs, grape varieties, and appellations of the region. The management of the vineyard focuses on wine tourism innovation and biodiversity preservation, while showcasing the living wine heritage of the Graves region.
